How to become a Guardian of Biodiveristy?

Young Guardians of Biodiversity is an educational initiative aimed at strengthening young people’s awareness of environmental protection and the value of local ecosystems. Developed in collaboration with IIS Luca Paciolo in Bracciano, the project offers an experiential learning pathway centered on field visits, educational activities, and direct engagement with organic farms.

Supported by the Unione Induista Italiana, the initiative contributes to a broader effort to promote biodiversity conservation and encourage more harmonious relationships between human communities and natural environments. Through practical experiences and participatory learning methods, students explore agroecological practices, sustainable land use, and rural tourism as tools for ecological regeneration.

The project is part of a wider educational journey developed by Navdanya International, which has long promoted initiatives for young people focused on the interconnectedness of ecology, culture, and community. By combining outdoor learning with creative communication and reflection, the project empowers participants to better understand environmental challenges and to play an active role in shaping sustainable futures.
