Agroecology School
This work is developed within the framework of Terrae Vivae, in collaboration with farmers, researchers, educators, and communities, and in dialogue with Navdanya International. Our approach is grounded in practice, shared learning, and the co-creation of knowledge that responds to local ecological and socio-economic conditions.

Introduction to Agroecology for technichal institues and specializing highschools
Our approach is practice-based and rooted in farmers’ knowledge and experience. Learning takes place directly in the field through observation, experimentation, and peer exchange, allowing agroecology to develop as a living and adaptive process.

Test Plots: Living Agroecological Laboratories
We support farms, plots, and orchards as living agroecological laboratories where regenerative practices can be tested, observed, and adapted over time. These spaces help connect practical experimentation with place-based learning and shared reflection.

Agroecology A-Z: practical knowledge for holistic mangement
We work with farmers to strengthen relationships with communities, educators, and local markets, recognising agroecology as both an ecological and social practice. This helps build stronger connections between food production, local knowledge, and territorial resilience.
Key Dimensions of the Farmers School
Field-Based Learning
We support on-farm workshops, field visits, and direct observation processes that allow learning to emerge from real practices, seasonal conditions, and shared experience.
Peer Exchange
We encourage peer-to-peer learning between farmers, creating spaces where challenges, adaptations, and results can be collectively discussed and reflected upon.
Soil & Biodiversity
Our work focuses on practices that regenerate soil fertility, protect biodiversity, and strengthen the ecological foundations necessary for resilient agroecosystems.
Seed & Crop Diversity
We support seed saving, diversified cropping, intercropping, and climate-adaptive techniques that increase resilience while preserving local knowledge and biological diversity.
Community Connections
We help strengthen direct relationships between farmers and communities through local markets, educational collaborations, and participation in food initiatives rooted in the territory.
Shared Knowledge
Farmers’ experiences are documented and shared to contribute to wider learning, advocacy, and dialogue on agroecology, rural resilience, and food sovereignty.
News from our blog
Our approach recognizes that the rights of nature can only be realized through the renewal of our communal bonds and the shared responsibility of care. Through participatory governance, education, and collective action, we aim to restore our resources as living commons, where ecological regeneration and community regeneration are inseparable.
